How To Solve Shikaku Puzzles

Divide the grid into a series of rectangles.  Each rectangle must have only one of the numbers provided in the puzzle.  The numbers represent the total number of spaces allowed in that rectangle.

Here is a typical Shikaku puzzle grid. The grid size can be smaller or larger and varies in difficulty.

Some white squares contain a number. That number represents the number of cells in a rectangle. Every number, and only one number, is included in a rectangle.
